Baby Eagle Nebula
The LBN 777 is rarely imaged, also known as Vulture Head Nebula. This nebula is part of the Taurus Molacular Cloud. This photo was selected as best image of the month in 2025 as part of the Sky-Watcher Target of the Month contest (TOTM).
Boogeyman Nebula
LDN 1622, also referred to as the Boogeyman Nebula, is a dark nebula that appears against the glowing Hydrogen of Barnard’s Loop in the constellation of Orion. This photo was selected as best image of the month in 2025 as part of the Sky-Watcher Target of the Month contest (TOTM).

This is IC 417, my entry in the SkyWatcher Target of the month contest – March 2026
IC 417 is an emission nebula in Auriga. It is located on the near side of the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. It has an estimated age of 10 million years. The nebula is home to 710 potential young stellar objects.
M42 – The Orion Nebula
The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula in the Milky Way situated south of Orion’s Belt in the constellation of Orion, and is known as the middle “star” in the “sword” of Orion. It is one of the brightest nebulae and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky. I took this as part of the 1 Hour Challenge. You get 1 hour to take and edit the photo. Not perfect, but I rather like how it turned out.
M81 & M82
M81 is a grand design spiral galaxy about 12 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major. M82 is a starburst galaxy approximately 12 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.

This is a dark nebula located near the Jellyfish nebula (IC 443).

This is a dark nebula. The official name is Fall from Polaris. I call it The little Mouse. What do you think?
UGC 7574
This image is roughly centered on The Eyes (ARP120 or UGC7574). I rather like how the field is also filled with many other galaxies. Reminds me on the viewer screen from Star Trek.
